The Fresno State University Grants and Research Office (UGRO) Web is provided as a professional service to faculty and staff who wish to apply for and secure external funds in support of their creative ideas and professional interests. The office serves as a resource for information and technical assistance, as well as a vehicle to assist in obtaining the necessary reviews and approvals before proposals are forwarded to the funding agencies.

Project Information Form DownloadCalifornia State University System faculty and student access is provided by the Grants & Research Office Web Site. This Web site includes many unusual and helpful features, including on-line access to a comprehensive library of information on federal/state grant and contract opportunities, plus information on private foundations and corporations.
Access is provided to systematic searches of available federal and private foundation funding programs based upon key words. Compliance help is provided in completing the necessary grant forms and initiation of necessary compliance procedures (when appropriate) by appropriate campus review committees.
The Office also assists in completion of necessary administrative review and authorization procedures. Assistance in the submission of the proposal, including providing the necessary copies and mailing of the proposal, is available.
